Photo Orientation & Missing Document Upload

One thing that seems to come up in P3 time and time again is documentation that has been loaded improperly or was not loaded at all. This week we’ll discuss the importance of properly loading photos and paperwork and what steps you should take if you accidentally skipped uploading the document the first time around.

Correcting Photos
The main purpose of providing photo documentation is so that it can be reviewed and NFPA 58 compliance can be confirmed. When photos are entered into the system sideways or upside down the task becomes more difficult.

A quick click of a button in the upper left-hand corner of Microsoft Office will allow you to turn the picture to the correct orientation if it came through the scanner the wrong way.
Adding a Missed Upload
When an upload was skipped accidentally there are just a few simple steps you need to go through to get the document associated with the account.
First, go to the inspection the document is missing from (in this case, the safety inspection).
Next, click on the pencil icon on the right-hand side to edit the Safety Inspection.
Scroll down to the bottom of the page and again, click on the pencil to edit.

Be sure to upload safety inspections and other documents as PDFs and not JPGs as documents uploaded as JPGs are difficult to view once they have been uploaded.
